David Mwaure Waihiga

David Mwaure Waihiga graduated in 1981 from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor in Laws Degree, he has a Masters in leadership and currently taking his Doctorate Degree. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, an Alternative Dispute Resolution Expert, an Arbitrator, a Professional Mediator, Negotiator and Reconciler, A Certified Public Secretary, A Commissioner of Oaths and a Notary Public.

David Mwaure Waihiga is a former Presidential Candidate in the Kenya's 2022 General Elections (one of the 4 who contested). He is a Senior Lawyer with over Thirty Nine (39) years standing. David is a political leader with the Agano Party. He has also contested for the Gubernatorial and Senatorial positions in Kenya.

David Mwaure is a Member of different Professional bodies (Past & Present): Law Society of Kenya (LSK), East Africa Law Society (EALS), International Bar Association (IBA), Pan Africa Lawyers Union ( PALU), Advocates International (AI), Advocates Africa (AA), The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), MTI East Africa Mediation Association, Kenya Christian Lawyers Association (KCLF), Global Business Round Table (GBR), Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship (FGBMF)

David founded and registered the Agano Party in the year 2006. In 2011 David was shortlisted as one of 17 successful applicants, to be a Judge of the Interim Independent Constitution Dispute Resolution Court, out of 150 applicants, to adjudicate on any matter arising from the New Constitution. In 2016, David was shortlisted and interviewed for the positions of Chief Justice, Deputy Chief Justice and Judge of Supreme Court. David has served in other many capacities as a leader and he has also toured several countries and been to the Jews State of Israel for three (3) visits.
